Updated review: Changing my review back to five stars. I still have to say Clean Solar has the best customer service I've dealt with in the Solar business. One quick email to let them know we had a micro inverter problem, and the truck is rolling out within a couple days and it is fixed on time with no hassle. Remember when you pick a solar company, you have a relationship for the next 25 years! Thank you!!

Very professional very happy with the entire process have had solar panels for 4 years now. Update: got the Tesla Powerwall 3 installed by Clean Solar and was a wonderful experience from Logan meeting me to give the options, and all the steps from beginning to end. Install team was great, follow up was great too. Cris, Jesse, Nick, Suzanne some of the names I interacted with were there when needed and it was smooth organized from start to finish.

I've just added solar panels to an original Clean Solar install. As previously, the experience was absolutely outstanding. From beginning to end: working with Art, to the construction (working with Jose) to the inspection (working with Cris + Michelle) everyone goes above and beyond in communication and preparation. Everything this company does is up to the highest standard -- no short cuts are taken -- which was my original draw. Clean Solar has been great in suggesting alternative ways to install my panels and batteries due to several constraints at the work site. They come with a problem-solving attitude -- especially Art -- and I really appreciate that. All in all, I wouldn't consider going with anyone else.

Clean solar installed a PV system on our roof in 2023. We got our permit in March right before the switch to NEM 3.0 and it was clear that the Clean Solar team were very busy indeed. Despite this they were able to get us through the permitting process and queue the install for later in 2023. Charlie and team did a great job designing a system that works well, looks great and did not require an expensive upgrade to 200A service. The PV installation was relatively painless and the system has been working very well for six months. We are very happy we made the investment and happy we went with Clean Solar.

It has been a total pleasure dealing with the personnel at Clean Solar. I originally spent over a week educating myself on the internet before interviewing three installation companies. I was so impressed with Clean Solar’s professionalism in the initial presentation and subsequent follow up that I made the decision to go with Clean Solar. This company knows what they are doing and how to treat their customers. One of the best experiences dealing with an installation company I have ever had!!

Excellent customer service throughout the entire process from initial contact through the sales process to the design and engineering to managing the project, installation, and to final sign-off. Quality of experience and quality of service are absolutely first rate.

They dealt with everything quickly and to my total satisfaction. Would give them my highest recommendation, and I'm generally pretty conservative about these things.

Very professional from sales to installation, inspection, and activation. Great pricing and I like the donation to charity. They have also followed up after installation. I had an issue with the monitoring a year after installation, and they informed me of the issue, and came out and repaired it. Great company!

Excellent experience with Clean Solar. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and responsive. They're an honest company and don't try to oversell you on size of system or additional products/services. Our system looks really nice aesthetically, which is a combination of SunPower panels (easily the best looking panels available) and an excellent job by the Clean Solar installers.

Great estimator came to my house to do survey and take measurements. He explained the process, pricing, and other details and answered questions well. Professional installers did work on time and a great job. I love my solar system and the service provided by Clean Solar to install it!

Clean Solar did a great job on our 18 panel home solar system. They were direct and honest with their proposal and there was no pressure or funny business. They gave me choices and options and told me the advantages and disadvantages of each. They kept us informed about what would happen and what did happen every step of the way. All employees were very professional and customer-focused. I highly recommend Clean Solar.

I am so proud to have my Clean Solar system installed. From the first day of contact to the last day of the final walk through, I was very happy with all interactions with everyone at Clean Solar. Their quote was very competitive with others that were quoting less efficient panels and had a shorter warranty and production guarantee. A friend of mine had used Clean Solar for an installation on his house and recommended it to me. So, I decided to give it a try. I shopped around at several places and found Clean Solar to have the best value based on the quality of panels/inverters, to be the most competent technically, and most importantly to rank lowest on the bad sales tactics meter. Tim, who handled our purchase, was great at guiding me through the process, which lasted about 4-6 months from start to finish. The support and communication from all involved was very good. And I was happy with how easy they made everything, working with the city, PG&E, etc. Now I have solidly performing panels and am saving several hundred dollars a month on my electrical bill (I know I sound like an ad, but it's true). I have no complaints and highly recommend Clean Solar to anyone looking to get solar for their home.

Very positive experience. I already had panels. Just wanted whole house batteries. They were happy to work with me. Kept me informed during the whole process. The job was finished a few months before our grid lost power for 30 hours. If we had only the panels, we would have been without power. But with the batteries, we were our own power plant. The system performed perfectly! Well worth the investment.

In December of 2022, I completed installation of a solar system and battery backup for my home, and I would like to commend Clean Solar and their team of professionals for a job well done. From beginning to end, I have been impressed with the level of professionalism, competency, and politeness of every person I engaged with from Clean Solar. I would not hesitate to recommend them if you are considering installing a solar solution for your home.

Clean Solar was the only solar installation company I found that could install solar panels for our somewhat complicated situation (3 story house with a flat roof). It took a while to get everything scheduled initially, but once we finally got started everything went great. They communicated clearly about all the steps in the process, handled all the necessary paperwork and permits, and Chandler and his installation crew were wonderful - so friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to resolve several issues that popped up during the installation process. Highly recommend!
